The first two clips are with Zoom H1 audio, the second are with GoPro audio (the Zoom was running low on power).
Apologies for the rain as well. I blame my country.
Just listen to the NOISE though!

Man, why can't every V6 sound like this. The one in my dads SUV sounds so weak.

Try poking a hole in the exhaust. That's pretty much what's happened to mine :)
I think it might be something to do with 6-cylinders being performance oriented engines here in Europe, whereas they're pretty much base engines on a lot of cars over in the States. Tunes are very different.

My dad suggested that idea when I was going to start buying parts for my exhaust. . . I told him no.

I prefer this sound much better, with or with out cut outs. Kind of a unfair comparison since the Vr6 and Volkswagen's engines just seem to always sound beefy. Not to bad though.
stock
full after market
with cut out.

The R32's engine is a bit of an unfair comparison. 2.5l in mine will sound higher pitched than the VW 3.2l.
Here's one with a stock system , another , and here's one and two without.
Still, the VR6 is rumblier in general than the Busso V6. Both great sounding engines though. Plus, most of the potato-cams used on youtube don't do either of these engines justice.

Yea that is why I said that, no to fair. But one of those is just the 3.2 Not r32's.
all vr6's sound good 2.8, 3.2,3.6 . I bet the CC and Touareg sound not as good since those are more of a executive car.E ven the 1.8 can growl. I think anything out of the VW house has a good sound, Audi, VW, Bugatti, Lambo's, etc
But inline 6 for the win better balance and create great torque monsters. I will say I should of caught the whole I have a hole in may exhaust. depending on where that can make it sound worse then a cut out. Those are usually place after the down pipe and cat.

How did you mount the Zoom? Was it inside?

For the clips in the video, it was mounted using one of these attached just above and pointing towards the exhaust.
They feel pretty flimsy, but they actually hold really well.
As most of the noise was coming from the front of the exhaust system this clip from inside mounted to the windscreen sounds pretty much just as good though.
